Patrick + Liana did most of the wedding planning from out of state. That didn’t matter much to them as they had spent their early times together in a long distance relationship. They knew how to make things work. They were married on a stunning day at the Powel Crosley Estate in Sarasota, one of our all time favorite venues. The estate was the perfect setting for these love birds. The delicate flowers and detailed wedding dress were complimented by the bright day and beautiful architecture. The bride and groom chose to hold hands on wither side of a door before the ceremony. They loved the idea of having a special moment before the ceremony to relish the excitement and anticipation. This was an emotional moment that ended up only lasting a few seconds. That’s all it took for both of them to come to tears. Just the simple touch of the others’ hand moved them to tears. Very powerful.
Emotions were still high through the processional and ceremony. The bride and groom wrote their own vows in which they promised to support and appreciate the other for all time. The ring bearer in true side-kick style held the rings in his batman utility belt. 🙂
The bridal party was fun and energetic. We loved capturing all the laughs! The bride and groom had amazing chemistry! We ended our portrait time out by the water to capture the colorful sunset. <3 The reception kicked off with fun introductions and a beautiful first dance. The sunset lingered so long that evening, become more and more pink and orange. It was incredible and the perfect ending to a beautiful day. May your lives together be filled with travel, adventure and amazing Belgium beer (you know which one)!
