Michael and Stephanie planned a destination wedding at Anna Maria Island. They rented out a gorgeous house on the island to get ready for the wedding… and of course for the honeymoon! <3 The dress was a jaw-dropper. It had it all lace, sparkle, belt and train. And the shoes! WOW! The groom and groomsmen were also sharply dressed in light colored suits, perfect for a Florida wedding! The ceremony was held at the beautiful St. Bernard Catholic Church. The bride and groom elected not to see each other before the ceremony, but they did say a few words while standing on either side of the door to the bride’s room in the church. This was a sweet moment and helped calm the super excited couple. They couldn’t wait to be married! <3 The ceremony was uplifting and lovely. The reception was held at the Sandbar Waterfront Restaurant. We routinely photograph weddings here and always love it. The venue is beautiful and has many wonderful areas for family photos. The reception was full of dancing and touching speeches. These two sure do have loving family and friends! <3 The sunset was stunning, I wished it would last forever. Cheers to toes in the sand and a lifetime of colorful sunsets.

The Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort has an amazing terrace ceremony site. It is breath-taking! There are views of Clearwater Bay on one side and the Gulf of Mexico on the other. The terrace is framed by the pink resort walls and grounded by pink bricks. This energetic couple chose bright blue and yellow as the wedding colors. The colors matched the groom’s custom Jordan sneakers – and he generously gifted his groomsmen a matching pair! The bride had a ‘first look’ with her father. This is a beautiful thing I wish couples did more often. The moment when a father sees his little girl in her wedding dress… gives me chills. There are usually some happy tears here… sometimes from the bride, sometimes from the father. But it is a beautiful moment I love capturing. Elliott and Jessica opted not to see each other before the ceremony. This made the moment when she turned the corner to walk down the aisle even more grand. I saw Elliott trying to sneak a peak at her when she walked out, but he couldn’t see her through the guests. When he saw her, his smile said it all. They wrote their own vows and the ceremony was full of love and laughter. These two are a perfect match. They both love sneakers, video games and music. They are both full of life and passion. Their excitement to be husband and wife was evident by their celebration down the aisle. 🙂 Oh and did I mention they have the most beautiful little girl?! I met these two before the baby bump and loved getting a birth announcement and Christmas photo from them as the wedding date approached. I was so excited for the big day… and also to see her in her little flower girl dress. <3 I wish your beautiful family health, love and happiness. Cheers!

Andrew and Whitney picked a beautiful, historic venue… right up my alley! I LOVE ‘old Florida’. The Edson Keith Estate in Sarasota offers a sprawling mansion, beautiful grounds and upstairs residence for getting ready. There is a historic farm house on the property, where we did our emotional first look. The getting ready areas were flooded with natural light and historic details. The ceremony took place in front of the impressive oak tree behind the mansion. The ceremony was full of happy tears and laughter. What I remember most about this couple, is how they looked at each other. It was pure admiration and excitement. The feeling you have when you think about how your paths crossed and how lucky you are that the other person chose you. Out of all the millions and millions of people in the world, you found each other. And they love you back. <3 Love really is powerful. Cheers!

This couple encouraged us to think outside the box from the moment we first started talking about their wedding. They are edgy and stylish and wanted photography to reflect that. We embraced the colors and Wonderland theme of the wedding and enjoyed the venue. We focused on the vibrant colors, unique angles and overall ‘Alice in Wonderland’ vibe. The Winterbourne Inn is a plantation style home built in the 1870’s, so it has so much character and soul. The bride got ready upstairs where she opened a gift from the groom simple marked, ‘open me’. I loved that he embraced the theme! <3 The groom was also delivered a special gift from the bride. His daughter was there to witness the tears. The bride was stunning in a heavily detailed dress. Her accessories rocked. My favorite was the anklet with a photo of her father. The bride and groom toasted the guests with custom brewed beer and incorporated his children in a tea making ceremony. Once the ceremony concluded, the mad tea party began. this was truely an exciting wedding that we will never forget. Cheers!

We love weddings at The Sandbar Restaurant! The beach is beautiful and the outdoor, covered pavilion is stunning for the reception. Everything is all in one location and the staff is fabulous! Stephen and Laura had beautiful vows uniting not only them, but their children too. The day ended with a colorful sunset and lots of dancing! We loved working with this amazing family with the best smiles! We wish you a lifetime of sunsets on the beach. <3 Cheers!

This couple loved classic, romantic weddings. They incorporated a lace wedding dress, bow ties, vintage Rolls Royce and the elegance of the Wentworth Gold Club to pull off a beautiful night. The day started out at Innisbrook Golf and Country Club where the bride, Maid of Honor and her mother were pampered at the spa. The bride did not want the groom to see her before she walked down the aisle, but wanted a moment together with their fur-babies. It was the cutest thing I’ve ever seen! The puppies in their bow ties! 🙂 They had a beautiful church ceremony full of wisdom about the commitment of marriage. We had a beautiful time doing photos at Wentworth Golf Club before dancing the night away.  We wish this beautiful couple a fabulous European honeymoon and a lifetime of love. <3 Cheers.

This couple loves being on the water, but didn’t want to worry about sand during their wedding.  Yacht Sensation was the perfect solution for them. They were so excited to tie the knot and could not contain their smiles all day. The wedding guests had a fabulous time enjoying the fresh air, salt water and amazing views. We loved the pops of coral and use of succulents. They are beautiful, colorful and hold up to the sun and heat way better than most flowers. We were able to steal them away for a little private time at the bow of the ship. We hope your marriage is full of days like these. Sun, salty kisses and genuine smiles! Cheers!

Ricardo + Esther would come to Curtis Hixon Park almost every Sunday when they started dating. They would walk after church and sometimes grab breakfast down the street. So this was the perect location for their engagement session. We got to know them as we explored the park. We learned about their special necklaces (Ricardo is quite the romantic), his Jamaican heritage and their love for Tampa. This couple was a joy to photograph and we cannot wait for the big day! Cheers!

I must say, this was my first assisted living wedding venue. But gosh, was it beautiful! The groom is in the military and the couple relocated away from family before the wedding. They wanted to have the wedding in Florida, but could not bear the though of her grandfather not being able to travel to the ceremony. So they decided to have the wedding at his place. 🙂 This family was gracious, thoughtful and hilarious. There was a beautiful tribute to the bride’s late grandmother and her grandfather had the honor of walking her down the aisle. The bride was so talented that she made her own centerpieces and flowers. I loved it! The joy between the bride and groom was contagious! The laughing continued into the evening with dancing and the Hora! This was the windiest evening on St Pete Beach! But these cuties were all smiles and managed to hold on tight to their adorable save the date banner! They were such bright spirits with their willingness to get sandy. I loved when I asked if they wanted to get their feet wet. Naturally, Dan, who was in sneakers, gave me a sideways glace… but Andrea answered, ‘Heck yeah!’ You’re not going to have a second chance at engagement photos, so why not be a little adventurous. She shared my thoughts exactly. Dan was spontaneous and all we had to do was watch them goof around. We cannot wait for the big day! Cheers to sandy toes and salty kisses!
