We were blessed with a beautiful sunny day for Jeff + Sarah’s wedding. The bride and bridesmaids arrived early, all wearing white. It was a stunning sight. I had not seen white bridesmaids dresses before. They wore statement navy blue necklaces and carried beautiful pink flowers. The bride and groom had a first look before the ceremony. The groom absolutely could not wait to see her, but the huge smile on the bride’s face stole the moment. The excitement did not fade… the couple’s eye contact while the bride walked down the aisle was electrifying. Cheers to a lifetime of happiness together!
James and Denise were married on a typical Tampa day. We received a lot of rain that week, and on that day. However, the skies cleared just long enough for a beautiful outdoor ceremony at Davis Island Garden Club. I was lucky enough to capture the bride getting ready with her mom, grandparents and the mother and step-mother of the groom. It was truly a happy family. The rain stopped just as the bride arrived. The bride and groom shared a prayer before the ceremony – but no peaking! The ceremony was personal and full of emotion… and a little comic relief. The guests were treated to a special, surprise dance from the groom and groomsmen. The look on the bride’s face was priceless. Especially when the groom dragged her on the dance floor. That set the tone for the night. This couple was all smiles, all night. Cheers!
We first met Kevin and Chrystal in historic Ybor City for their engagement session. The historic touches continued into the wedding day. The couple got ready in the 1920’s era Hampton Inn & Suites in downtown Bradenton. The ceremony was held in the South Florida Museum chapel. Just as the ceremony concluded, it began to rain! Luckily, the reception was set up under a covered area. This gave guests the entire Spanish Plaza for dancing! The weather soon passed and it was a beautiful night. The couple incorporated their love of wine into the place cards, a touch I especially loved! The wedding topper was also personalized with a little tribute to their beloved cat. The groom was also surprised with a groom’s cake – a replica of his first car. This vibrant couple has such a bright future. May your love age like a fine wine! Cheers!
Chris and Katie incorporated their love of books into their wedding ceremony and reception. They built the wedding arch and plan to re-purpose it as a bookshelf in their home. The sunny atrium was the perfect location for this summer wedding. The bride and her father took the elevator down to the ceremony. It was a stunning entrance. The bride and groom were so thrilled after the ceremony that they couldn’t stop smiling! Cheers! May your love story be even greater than those in your favorite books!
We got to know Adam and Sarah through a variety of meetings and a beautiful engagement session. We had a love of Disney and college football in common. They decided on a summer wedding since they had graduate school and teacher schedules. They chose the St Petersburg Marriott Clearwater to host their wedding. This allowed for comfortable indoor photos, ceremony and reception. We did manage to sneak away, albeit hilariously in a small hotel hatchback, for a few quick sun-drenched photos. 🙂 I was delighted to see so many Disney touches. The songs of the ceremony were beautiful, and some funny, Disney ballads. The vows – wow – amazing and funny! But my favorite moment from the day was the stunning first look. We had a quick and sweet first look with the father of the bride and the bride. He was stunned at her calmness and beauty. But when the groom turned around to see his bride, he couldn’t contain his emotion. He kept saying she looked so beautiful and that he couldn’t wait to marry her. *swoon* The bridal party was full of friends and family and kept the energy high. They couldn’t wait to toast the bride and groom! Cheers to you, may you live happily ever after! <3
Kurtis + Ileana married in a beautiful, sunny ceremony in downtown St Petersburg. The wedding party started the day with hair and make-up at the Renaissance Vinoy. The ladies wore coordinating pajamas to ensure they were cute and comfortable. The wedding dress was strapless, silky and had a stunning jeweled belt. The bride’s grandfather recently passed away and to honor him, she pinned the handkerchief he made for her to her dress. <3 There were so many happy tears at this wedding, I get a little emotional thinking back on them. The bride and groom wrote sweet letters to each other and exchanged gifts. They could not wait to see each other, so an impromptu first look was held in a spare ballroom. And you guessed it, more happy tears.
The ceremony was sunny and full of emotional and funny moments. And what is better after a hot ceremony, hanging out with the bridal party and a cold drink! This bride and groom really knew how to enjoy their day! 🙂 Family was very important to this couple and was incorporated in the decor of the reception. The dancing was incredible thanks to Grant Hemond. Cheers!
Rob and Brittney came to us on their one year anniversary with a crazy idea to commemorate the day… a trash the dress session. Gosh I love this couple! We were lucky to skirt a thunderstorm, but the wind and weather gave us a moody inspiration. Her dress was gorgeous, but once it got wet it became difficult to move in – but she was a champ. And the water was freshly cold from all the rain we received the weeks prior. No one ever said photography was easy. 🙂 We loved reuniting with this couple again and we had fun getting a wet.
We met up with this affectionate couple at Clearwater Beach to capture Stephanie’s baby bump. This is the couple’s first baby and they are over joyed! They are expecting a little girl and have a beautiful name picked out: Charlotte. <3 Swoon! Love that name! Although they live out of state, I am so excited to see baby Charlotte a few months after she is born. She is going to make the most adorable flower girl at their Florida destination wedding! Until then baby girl…
We loved being a part of this intimate Indian Shores Beach ceremony at the Sand Castle. I grew up visiting this beach and love it for its white sand and relative seclusion. The bride and groom planned this destination wedding and even brought the custom built wedding arch and signs. The bright blue and purple was vibrant even in the bright sun. The groom’s nephews were super cute in their blue suspenders and sign. The bride was gorgeous as she walked down the beach escorted by her father and daughter. The vows were beautiful and we could see the excitement in the first kiss. <3 We took time for photos with the bride and groom and their little girl. She was the cutest, happiest little pumpkin. We capitalized on their playful, passionate personalities. We can see how amazing their lives will be. Keep having fun and laughing. Cheers!
Ricardo and Esther were married at their Tampa church surrounded by family and friends. Many family members traveled from Jamaica to be a part of the celebration. All eyes (and cell phones) were on the beautiful bride as she entered the church. <3 The reception was held at The Tampa Club where the view is incredible! You can see all of Tampa! I must admit it was thrilling (I am so afraid of heights). We were so blessed to be a part of your big day. We hope you have a relaxing honeymoon in Jamaica! Cheers!
