We were recommended to Anthony and Rachel by a previous bride… Rachel’s sister! It is such a compliment to be recommended by a happy client. *happy dance* I first met Rachel at her sister’s wedding day (she was the maid of honor) and remembered her awesome smile! I could not wait to schedule the engagement session and work one-on-one with them. After getting to know this couple via e-mail and phone calls, we decided on a Disney shoot! *happy dance again* Anthony and Rachel are also huge Disney fans and visit multiple times a year, they also do the 10Ks and are training for a marathon. And I’m nervous for my first Disney 5k…. sheesh. We had a beautiful afternoon documenting their chemistry. They like to laugh, joke and compliment each other. <3 We discussed an outfit change into more casual clothes at the end of the session. To my surprise, Rachel changed into an FSU Seminoles t-shirt and Anthony changed into a UF Gators t-shirt. Talk about house divided. ha. I already loved this couple, so I didn’t let the Seminoles detail get in the way. 🙂 We are so excited for this wedding and wish you love, travel and many Disney trips. See ya real soon. Cheers.
Dan and Andrea have one of our favorite things in common… they are Gators! 🙂 While we love college football, the SEC and football fans everywhere – we bleed orange and blue. So naturally, we became best buds instantly. They chose a bright aqua, pool color and the most beautiful weather. I loved the one shoulder bridesmaids dresses and the gray suits. The bride was radiant in a lace detailed dress. The back was elegant lace and round buttons – wow. The groom spent the morning hanging out with the groomsmen. They even hit a few balls on the golf course right before arriving for the first look. Since the wedding and reception were being held at the Rusty Pelican in Tampa, we decided to hold the first look right on the bay. It was gorgeous. The bride navigated the rocky terrain with grace in her lace heels. A skill I surely lack. They were so excited to see each other and I’m glad we were able to capture that anticipation. The groom loved the lace detailing and the bride loved his colored pocket square. We spent the next few minutes having fun with the bridal party. They were full of energy and laughs. The day flowed into the ceremony at the gazebo. It was officiated by Rev. Rick of Sensational Ceremonies – one of our favorites! Each chair had a shell on it. At the end of the ceremony, the guests were invited to join the bride and groom at the edge of the water. Then they were told to make a wish for the bride and groom and toss the shell into the bay. It was a beautiful and uplifting event that we had never seen before. The first dance was beautiful with the orange sunset in the background. Then the bride and groom re-enacted the run and lift from Dirty Dancing! It was amazing! The rest of the night was filled with fun, the Newlywed Game and dancing! During the last few songs, Gators pompoms were handed out. After a rowdy Gator Chomp the guests used the pompoms for a colorful grand exit for the bride and groom. We loved every second of this wedding and wish you a lifetime of love, happiness and Gator pride! Cheers!
Erik + Patty started the wedding day at the Sirata Beach Resort on St Pete Beach. They got ready there with the bridal party. The bride’s room was full of laughter and happy tears. I remember how excited she was to put on her wedding dress! And wow, she was jaw droppingly gorgeous in her lace, strapless dress. Her headband was beautiful and complimented the beading on her dress. From there, the bridal party traveled to the Tampa Bay Watch. The ceremony site was set on the lawn overlooking the bay. The ceremony was officiated by the bride’s uncle. The bride and groom wrote their own vows. The vows were sweet and full of love and promises for the future. <3 The night was full of celebrating and dancing. It was a dream to work with such an amazing couple. We love how they cherish family, laughter and happily ever after. Cheers!
Tony and Kristina’s wedding day was planned to perfection. We began with getting ready photos where I fell in love with her stunning wedding dress. It was a satin, strapless, corset back dress that perfectly complimented her. The show stopper was the full length veil! Wozers! Next came the highly anticipated first look. We found a private porch at the University of Tampa and simply watched the magic happen. They were playful and excited – just as they were during the engagement session. It was one of my favorite first looks. I loved how she covered his eyes and said, “Guess who.” And his reaction was priceless! He would continue to tell her how amazingly beautiful she was all day. <3 We were blessed to photograph their incredible bridal party as well. The bridal party was made up of close friends and family. Incorporating family into your wedding party is truly one of my favorite things. 🙂 The ceremony and reception was held at the Sheraton Tampa Riverwalk Hotel. The ceremony room boasts a curved wall of windows that look out onto the Hillsborough River, Riverwalk and pool. The reception ballroom is large and also offers beautiful views. The night closed with a magical sparkler send-off. May your future be filled with laughter, love and great wine! Cheers!
We fell in love with this couple from the first moment we met them. They were funny, positive and lighthearted. The only problem was… they are FSU fans. But we won’t hold that against them… I even photographed the Seminoles themed groom’s cake with joy. Their wedding day was exciting, not stressed and emotional. Ben and Rachel wanted to do most of the photos before the ceremony. Fall and winter weddings often require this due to the early sunsets. This means we were treated to a beautiful first look. Both bride and groom were moved to tears. <3 We had an incredible session at the University of Tampa, a place special to the bride and groom. One of my favorite moments of the day was the grand exit from St Paul Lutheran Church. The bubbles look beautiful and it afforded the excitement of a grand exit for the bride and groom who wanted to dance into the night. This is a wonderful option for those who do not want to cut the reception short or do not have a location suitable for sparklers or confetti. The reception at the Centre Club was beautiful. The cocktail hour area is large with a beautiful bar and sweeping views. The ballroom was large with modern fixtures and dedicated bar area. The guests enjoyed the large dance floor and incredible views. Cheers!
Nathan and Nicole were surrounded by amazing friends and family on their wedding day. The bridal party was full of energy and loving words. The groomsmen elected for a fun photo session before the wedding. The happy couple exchanged letters before the ceremony, but did not see each other. The bride did get a tearful (happy tears) reaction from her dad when he saw her in her wedding dress. It was a beautiful moment. Then they laughed all the way down the aisle. <3 The ceremony was held on the patio overlooking the bay and it was sealed with a kiss. We enjoyed the beautiful marina and the bride and groom’s funny disposition. We truly loved being a part of your wedding day and cannot wait to see what the future holds for you! Cheers!
I could not wait to see the Disney touches Phil and Jennifer planned for their wedding. 🙂 We held the engagement session at Disney’s Boardwalk and we couldn’t stop talking about the wedding details. From the invitations to the bride’s nail polish – there were hidden mickeys everywhere. The bride was more stunning than Cinderella herself. The magical blue bridesmaids dress, glass slippers and princess tiara… I almost couldn’t handle it. I thought the bridesmaids’ reaction to Jennifer was moving… until Dad saw her. Oh my tears! Phil was dashing in his suit. He had Star Trek cuff-links and pin. His bout0nniere had a special homage to Up. Both the bride and groom were escorted by their parents. More smiles and happy tears! The ceremony was full of Disney songs, verses and sand pouring. The reception was full of themed decor, table names and gifts. The bride looked like a princess as her husband twirled her around the dance floor. The night ended with a magical send-off. The bride and groom boarded a horse-drawn carriage. Yes, it was a white horse and yes it looked like Cinderella’s carriage. <3 So this is love, so this is what makes life divine. Cheers to your happily ever after!
Robert and Danielle were married on a beautiful fall day at a beautiful ranch. I loved the cowboy boots and yellow touches. Danielle was gorgeous in her lace dress. I loved the back! She wore a charm on her bouquet in honor of her father. I loved the groom in his jacket and jeans – totally him! He even rocked the hat for a few photos before saying, “Danielle told me not to wear the hat in EVERY picture.” ha. Loved that! These two had been together for many years and truly knew each other inside and out. They chose not to see each other before the ceremony, but held hands and said a few sweet words to each other before the ceremony. They incorporated a prayer stone in the ceremony – LOVED that idea! I’m such a sucker for anything that can be displayed in the home from the wedding. We had a super amazing sunset and a clear, cool night. It was a dream wedding. Every detail attended to and every moment beautiful. Cheers!
TJ and Alex were two of the most laid back people I’ve met. Alex was a natural beauty. She just exuded happiness and femininity. Her strapless dress was perfect for a beach wedding. The detailing was stunning. Her tussled side-do and natural make-up complimented the dress as well. TJ was handsome in his white dress shirt and gray slacks. The pops of teal and pink looked beautiful on the beach. The couple wrote beautiful vows full of compliments and promises. The guests threw mini beach balls in the air as the couple were pronounced husband and wife. It was a fun touch! We had a beautiful sunset and hilarious reception held on the back deck. Everyone was enjoying the fresh salt air, dancing and laughing. It was truly a fun, fun, fun wedding. Cheers to many more fun nights on the beach newlyweds!
Cory and Rhonda were not only joining their lives together in their destination wedding, but also their children. They involved their children in the ceremony with a beautiful sand ceremony uniting the family as one. They wrote their vows from the heart, a number of guests were crying. Everyone was wowed by the beautiful beach and sunset. We had such a wonderful time with this blended family and hope they have many more walks on the beach together. Cheers!
