Rob + Brittney’s wedding was an ocean of beauty. I just loved the different shades of blues and the pops of pink. They embraced the beauty of the venue and every little detail tied together. Brittney was a hands-on bride, making some of the most amazing things for the wedding… the shoes!! I think she has an eye for event planning! She really looked like a princess in her beautiful dress. I loved the way this couple laughs with each other. They are so in synch that their vows both mentioned song lyrics! (They both love music) <3 Brittney surprised Rob with ThunderBug as the ring bearer. I wasn’t sure he could top his reaction to seeing ThunderBug, but when he saw Brittney walk down the aisle… magic! The night was full of more surprises like a beautifully choreographed first dance, cake fight and fireworks! It is obvious these two adore each other and I can’t wait to see what they accomplish together! Cheers!
James + Kristen smiled more than any couple in history on their wedding day… seriously. They chose a beautiful ceremony on the Hillsborough River at the Westin Tampa Harbour Island. The sun peaked through the oak trees like in a fairytale. The bride and bridesmaids got ready in an amazing suite at the Westin. Kristen kept spying the Port of Tampa from her window saying she couldn’t wait to go on her honeymoon cruise! The ceremony was beautiful and touching. The bridal party laughed their way through the portraits. The newlyweds enjoyed a few romantic moments on the water… as well as a few scares (James is a prankster). The reception was a blast! I loved the groom’s entrance glasses! Both said they were nervous for the first dance since neither one knows how to slow dance. But they did amazing! Smiling, twirling and talk about a dramatic dip! Wowza! Oh and their first dance song is the same as ours! We were fated to be a part of their wedding… they could pass for our stunt doubles 🙂 The night ended with a epic cake fight and a full dance floor. Cheers!
Marcus + Carly will be married at the Safety Harbor Resort & Spa early next year, so it only made sense to celebrate their engagement in the beautiful city where they will be hitched. We started at Philippe Park where we were attacked by mosquitoes. I love the way the trees arch over the road here. We ended at the marina. The summer sunrise lit up the bay and made a beautiful backdrop for these love birds. I loved the way Marcus made Carly laugh. I have a feeling they will be laughing together forever. I can’t wait to see their smiles on the wedding day!
Mark + Joanne wanted a nautical themed wedding day. They picked out the cutest little details to compliment their venue, the StarLite Majesty. I especially liked the surfboard sign in and Love Boat boarding music. Joanne is a huge Disney fan and incorporated a few Disney songs into the day. As a Disney geek, I loved it! The couple began the wedding prep at the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach. Amazing resort. After a wonderful voyage, we boarded a private trolley and zoomed around the beach. What really stood out to me was how much they enjoyed each other’s company. They just light up when they are together. They cherish their friends and family and don’t take them for granted. Next time you are in Clearwater Beach, I hope we can grab a fruity beverage… You know the kind with a little umbrella… Right Mark?
Chaz and Lauren will be married at Nova 535 in a few months, so they knew they wanted to do engagement photos in downtown St Pete. Both are performers with awesome style. They wanted to incorporate Chaz’s son in the photos as well. I think this kid has a career in modeling in his future. We had a lovely time walking along North Straub Park and Vinoy Park. We cannot wait for the big day! I bet it will be filled with personal touches and lots of personality! Cheers!
David + Aimee love sweets and baseball. They chose to relive the best date ever. David and Aimee went to Candy Kitchen for ice cream one evening. They then drove a few blocks down the beach to a beach access area right next to the John’s Pass Bridge. They walked on the path next to the water to an outlook area. That’s where David asked Aimee to be his wife! <3 After we finished those two locations, we had just enough time for some fun. We visited a school baseball field where David coaches. I love when the locations are so personal. They help tell the love story. They wanted a fun save-the-date photo and we totally delivered!
Chris + Alyssa were married at Town Manor on a beautiful summer day. Town Manor Bed & Breakfast offers a little slice of fairy-tale paradise right between Tampa and Orlando. The weddings here always go smoothly, thanks to the great staff. We loved this little family, their daughter was super cute and had the best curly hair! My favorite moment was the first look. We positioned Chris in the lakefront lawn. Then Alyssa walked up, touched Chris on the shoulder and the rest was magic. I heard Chris gasp. Alyssa loved the bow tie of his formal military uniform. The love and respect between these two was obvious. They are a proud Army family so we wanted to make sure we incorporated some military items into the photos. The gazebo is brightly back-lit so we had some fun with the natural light. After the photos, the new Mr. & Mrs. enjoyed dinner and dancing with their guests. The grand exit was wonderful and Chris was prepared and wrote ‘Just Married’ on the back window of the get-away car. Cheers! And thank you for your service!
Justin + Patricia had a beautiful destination wedding at the Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club. These love birds and their close friends and family traveled from New York to the white sand of the Florida coast to say ‘i do’. It was a bright, sunny day. The bride’s feminine, lace wedding dress, burlap accessories and blue accents made this feel like a classic Florida beach wedding. The ceremony was late int he afternoon on the gulf coast, so we had a ton of light! We battled the blinking and squinting and came away with beautiful romantic, moving images. The happy couple and guests enjoyed a seated, delicious meal under a private beach pavilion and danced into the night!
